I am slowly walking into the 21st century. Why not? Might as well use all tools at hand to live the most interesting and creative life we can, no?
This my first foray into websiteland, 25 some years into my art "career." Why not? There is no percentage in pretending to be underground anymore, and half the fun in this life comes from connecting with like minded souls whoever and however they are. Here we are.
I hope you will all enjoy the sweet crude nature of this site: I am putting it together with the tools I have and understand. When I get better pictures and if I ever learn photoshop it will evolve. My art really belongs where it lives: wherever it hangs, whoever it hangs with. These are not meant to be slick images which live out of context. They were almost all painted with specific people, places, events, moments in mind. Being immersed in these processes I have been downright irresponsible with concern to the recording/archiving of all this. I thought it was fun not to care at all! Now I think its fun to care somewhat. StillI like to make it and send it on its way!
I used to describe myself as "unambitious and prolific." Still true, and evolving. I am ambitious in the sense of always wanting to make better and wilder and more elegant work which is connected and real. Prolific comes from that motivation.
What you see here so far is about 1% of my art life so far. I will continue to dig up older stuff and there will eventually be an "archive" page for pieces more than five years old or so. Prefer to keep working in the present! Onward!
Thanks for your time and attention!
